Little by little, the 1-Click root app has been seen rooting a number of devices such as The Motorola Milestone and now including the Nexus One. Rooting a device has never been as easy as now.
A newly released app, Universal Androot, lets you root and unroot your phone with the click of a button. One good thing about this app is that you can still get OTA software updates after rooting your device. This is because apparently, the rooting method doesn’t affect the bootloader. The other cool thing about this app is that it supports a wide range of Android devices…and that list appears to be growing!
According to the developer, the app uses the same exploit that was used to root Droid X. It’s been known to work well so far.
